Python 3.13 coming to EPEL 10.1 and 9

Hello, To make the Python offering complete in EL, we've decided to bring Python 3.13 to EPEL 10.1 and 9. Now you can test it out. (We don't currently plan to add it to EPEL 10.0, so if you have a strong case for that, please speak up). https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-a6ebd046d4 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2025-b777af3d6c We plan to rebase the Pythons to every new upstream version and keep it synced in all active branches (similarly to how we do it in Fedora). EPEL 10 vs. 10.1

With the release of RHEL 10 (10.0), I started working on some system setups. I requested some EPEL 10 branches of a few packages (thanks to all maintainers!)... but then don't see the packages on a RHEL 10 system. I think it's because they made epel10 branches, which are now going to 10.1 rather than 10.0. How is this supposed to work? Is there a way to request 10.0 branches (would I need to go back to all the maintainers)? Is there a way to pull in the 10.1 RPMS other than just hard-coding the minor version in /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo? I can't seem to find the docs about the EPEL 10 releaes plans with the point releases. -- Chris Adams <linux(a)cmadams.net>
