Hi,

due to a bug in the script to identify long-time orphaned packages, no
packages that were already retired in Rawhide were reported in the
reports from the previous months. I now fixed the script, so the next
reports will still show a lot of packages that are orphaned for more
than six weeks now. Since they are retired already in Rawhide, I guess
it is very unlikely that they will be picked up. However since there
were not enough proper announcements for the packages, I will not retire
them for now, but they will probably be retired soon, if nobody picks
them up.

Also I noticed that some packages might have been retired due to
broken dependencies, because they are noarch but depend on packages that
do not exist in i386. For example oz depended on python-libguestfs. To
avoid this, use ExclusiveArch to make sure that noarch packages will
only be shipped my mash for the appropriate archs.

Thanks for letting everyone know. I will say we will delete any unclaimed of these around the second week of January.
