Everything other than a clear "Vendor" id in the package header is
broken. It is only a matter of time before independent packagers not only
set %dist, but also the repotag, mimicking Fedora or EPEL packages.
This is far fetched science ficition. Disttags and repotags have been
around long before Fedora existed and no repo was as brain-damaged to
copy over another repo's repotag.
If you assume maximum stupidity then everything is possible, of
course, even a random permutation of name/version/release, does that
lead us to dropping version and release, too?
