The following update is in currently in epel-test: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2013-0496/python-request...
It is a major version number bump from the release of python-requests currently in epel and will likely cause compatibility issues for users. If you have time, testing of the update would be much appreciated.
