You need to open a ticket and request that version bump.
Note that this may conflict with EPEL updates policy, then the
alternatives would be providing a parallel installable version of
Erlang packages.

Ah right, slipped my mind. Went back to check and it seems while
F23 has stayed on par with upstream for RabbitMQ, erlang has lagged
even in F23 as it remains at 17.4 whereas 18.1 is current. I had hoped
to get srpms that I could rebuild, shame.
