At one point during the package review process there was some discussion about viewvc being part of EPEL and the spec has been crafted to enable such things. Any chance this package actually goes in?

PS. I'm only asking because I need it, of course :-)

Be sure and check the dependencies first. I'm guess some things like cvsgraph, enscript, and possibly others have not (yet?) been built for epel - and then, maybe only for epel5.

I'm on EL5, so I'll focus on that for now. Enscript is there, but cvsgraph isn't. I'll see if Fedora packages build on EL5 and report back. I'll also check other build/runtime dependencies.

cvsgraph-1.6.1-3.fc6 (a.k.a. the current F7 thingy) builds just fine on EL5, with no modification.

And, if cvsgraph does make into EPEL5, I was thinking of something like the attached for the spec file. Unfortunately, we'd probably have to bring back the -selinux package for EPEL...
The patch is against Fedora development spec.

Which aren't strictly speaking dependencies, since it can work fine without them and make less sense when using viewvc with subversion.
