Fedora EPEL 5 Update: hivex-1.2.2-1.el5

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2010-2690

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : hivex
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 1.2.2
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://libguestfs.org/
Summary : Read and write Windows Registry binary hive files
Description :
Hive files are the undocumented binary blobs that Windows uses to
store the Windows Registry on disk. Hivex is a library that can read
and write to these files.
'hivexsh' is a shell you can use to interactively navigate a hive
binary file.
'hivexregedit' lets you export and merge to the textual regedit
format.
'hivexml' can be used to convert a hive file to a more useful XML
format.
In order to get access to the hive files themselves, you can copy them
from a Windows machine. They are usually found in
%systemroot%\system32\config. For virtual machines we recommend
using libguestfs or guestfish to copy out these files. libguestfs
also provides a useful high-level tool called 'virt-win-reg' (based on
hivex technology) which can be used to query specific registry keys in
an existing Windows VM.
For Perl bindings, see 'perl-hivex'.
For OCaml bindings, see 'ocaml-hivex-devel'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This contains an important fix for regedit importing. Upgrading is recommended.

Name : rubygem-shotgun
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 0.4
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://github.com/rtomayko/shotgun/
Summary : Automatic reloading version of the rackup command
Description :
This is an automatic reloading version of the rackup command that's shipped
with Rack. It can be used as an alternative to the complex reloading logic
provided by web frameworks or in environments that don't support
application reloading.
The shotgun command starts one of Rack's supported servers (e.g., mongrel,
thin, webrick) and listens for requests but does not load any part of the
actual application. Each time a request is received, it forks, loads the
application in the child process, processes the request, and exits the
child process. The result is clean, application-wide reloading of all
source files and templates on each request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Here is where you give an explanation of your update.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use

A library for programmatically editing configuration files. Augeas parses
configuration files into a tree structure, which it exposes through its
public API. Changes made through the API are written back to the initially
read files.
The transformation works very hard to preserve comments and formatting
details. It is controlled by ``lens'' definitions that describe the file
format and the transformation into a tree.

Name : R
Product : Fedora EPEL 4
Version : 2.11.0
Release : 1.el4
URL : http://www.r-project.org
Summary : A language for data analysis and graphics
Description :
This is a metapackage that provides both core R userspace and
all R development components.
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
R is similar to the award-winning S system, which was developed at
Bell Laboratories by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide
variety of statistical and graphical techniques (linear and
nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis,
classification, clustering, ...).
R is designed as a true computer language with control-flow
constructions for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to
add additional functionality by defining new functions. For
computationally intensive tasks, C, C++ and Fortran code can be linked
and called at run time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update to R 2.11.0. Many bugs fixed, changes made. For full description, see:
