Name : drupal7-views
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 3.1
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://drupal.org/project/views
Summary : Provides a method for site designers to control content presentation
Description :
The views module provides a flexible method for Drupal site designers
to control how lists of content (nodes) are presented. Traditionally,
Drupal has hard-coded most of this, particularly in how taxonomy and
tracker lists are formatted.
This tool is essentially a smart query builder that, given enough
information, can build the proper query, execute it, and display the
results. It has four modes, plus a special mode, and provides an
impressive amount of functionality from these modes.

Fedora EPEL 6 Update: haveged-1.3-2.el6

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2011-5016

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : haveged
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.3
Release : 2.el6
URL : http://www.irisa.fr/caps/projects/hipsor/
Summary : A Linux entropy source using the HAVEGE algorithm
Description :
A Linux entropy source using the HAVEGE algorithm
Haveged is a user space entropy daemon which is not dependent upon the
standard mechanisms for harvesting randomness for the system entropy
pool. This is important in systems with high entropy needs or limited
user interaction (e.g. headless servers).
Haveged uses HAVEGE (HArdware Volatile Entropy Gathering and Expansion)
to maintain a 1M pool of random bytes used to fill /dev/random
whenever the supply of random bits in /dev/random falls below the low
water mark of the device. The principle inputs to haveged are the
sizes of the processor instruction and data caches used to setup the
HAVEGE collector. The haveged default is a 4kb data cache and a 16kb
instruction cache. On machines with a cpuid instruction, haveged will
attempt to select appropriate values from internal tables.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update to 1.3.2. Fixing building issues on PPC.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This update can be installed with the "yum" update programs. Use
su -c 'yum update haveged' at the command line.

[SECURITY] Fedora EPEL 6 Update: wicd-1.7.0-2.el6
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2012-0292

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : wicd
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 1.7.0
Release : 2.el6
URL : http://wicd.sourceforge.net/
Summary : Wireless and wired network connection manager
Description :
Wicd is designed to give the user as much control over behavior of network
connections as possible. Every network, both wired and wireless, has its
own profile with its own configuration options and connection behavior.
Wicd will try to automatically connect only to networks the user specifies
it should try, with a preference first to a wired network, then to wireless.
This package provides the architecture-dependent components of wicd.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
CVE-2012-0813
A sensitive information disclosure flaw was found in the way wicd, wireless and wired network connection manager, performed management of sensitive information, to be stored in log files. Fields like 'password', 'identity', 'private_key', 'private_key_passwd' etc., were not excluded from being logged into /var/log/wicd log file, which could allow local attacker, with the privileges of the 'adm' group to view content of these entities in plain text, leading to information disclosure. This update fixes the problem.
A reboot is not technically necessary, but if you do not reboot your system after installing this update, you should at least restart the wicd service.
