Fedora EPEL 6 Update: multitail-6.2.1-1.el6

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2014-0588

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : multitail
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 6.2.1
Release : 1.el6
URL : http://www.vanheusden.com/multitail/
Summary : View one or multiple files like tail but with multiple windows
Description :
MultiTail lets you view one or multiple files like the original tail
program. The difference is that it creates multiple windows on your
console (with ncurses). It can also monitor wildcards: if another file
matching the wildcard has a more recent modification date, it will
automatically switch to that file. That way you can, for example,
monitor a complete directory of files. Merging of 2 or even more
logfiles is possible.
It can also use colors while displaying the logfiles (through regular
expressions), for faster recognition of what is important and what not.
Multitail can also filter lines (again with regular expressions) and
has interactive menus for editing given regular expressions and
deleting and adding windows. One can also have windows with the output
of shell scripts and other software. When viewing the output of
external software, MultiTail can mimic the functionality of tools like
'watch' and such.

Fedora EPEL 5 Update: root-5.34.15-1.el5

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2014-0537

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : root
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 5.34.15
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://root.cern.ch/
Summary : Numerical data analysis framework
Description :
The ROOT system provides a set of object oriented frameworks with all
the functionality needed to handle and analyze large amounts of data
in a very efficient way. Having the data defined as a set of objects,
specialized storage methods are used to get direct access to the
separate attributes of the selected objects, without having to touch
the bulk of the data. Included are histogramming methods in 1, 2 and 3
dimensions, curve fitting, function evaluation, minimization, graphics
and visualization classes to allow the easy setup of an analysis
system that can query and process the data interactively or in batch
mode.
Thanks to the built in CINT C++ interpreter the command language, the
scripting, or macro, language and the programming language are all
C++. The interpreter allows for fast prototyping of the macros since
it removes the time consuming compile/link cycle. It also provides a
good environment to learn C++. If more performance is needed the
interactively developed macros can be compiled using a C++ compiler.
The system has been designed in such a way that it can query its
databases in parallel on MPP machines or on clusters of workstations
or high-end PCs. ROOT is an open system that can be dynamically
extended by linking external libraries. This makes ROOT a premier
platform on which to build data acquisition, simulation and data
analysis systems.

Fedora EPEL 6 Update: libflatarray-0.1.1-1.el6
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2014-0540
2014-02-16 09:59:33
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : libflatarray
Product : Fedora EPEL 6
Version : 0.1.1
Release : 1.el6
URL : http://www.libgeodecomp.org/libflatarray.html
Summary : C++ library for highly efficient multi-dimensional arrays
Description :
LibFlatArray acts as a highly efficient multi-dimensional array of
arbitrary objects (array of structs, AoS), but really uses a struct of
arrays (SoA) memory layout. It's great for writing vectorized code and
its lightning-fast iterators give you access to neighboring elements
with zero address generation overhead.
Use cases include:
- computer simulations (e.g. stencil codes such as Lattice Boltzmann Methods)
- image processing (e.g. Gaussian filters)
- numerical methods (e.g. multiplication of complex matrices)
The library is written in C++ and uses templates to shift the burden
of address computation from runtime to compile time. It shares some
infrastructure with its parent project LibGeoDecomp.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
C++ template library for highly efficient multi-dimensional arrays.
Current is header only for libgeodecomp(being packaged).
