In control center -> keyboard There are 3 menu entries : typing, shorcuts, layouts. When switching to cinnamon-wayland the keyboard layout menu entry is simply missing.
Morever trying to add an applet to set the keyboard layout is not working. The applet just blip in the taskbar and disappear.
Setting : localectl set-keymap fr , doesn't work.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce: 1. on the login screen switch to cinnamon-wayland 2. go to control center -> keyboard 3. the keyboard layout menu entry is missing. Actual Results: the keyboard layout menu entry is missing.
Expected Results: the keyboard layout menu entry is present.

Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 39 on 2024-11-26. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. Fedora Linux 39 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.
