Introduction from Hristo Marinov
by Hristo Marinov
Hi, my name is Hristo Marinov and I live in Sofia, Bulgaria. I'm currently working in optical disc manufacturing, where I implement different roles including machinery maintenance, software applications development, network and system administration. I also develop web applications, that I host on my own servers. I look forward to joining the Fedora community and contributing to this project.
Besides machines and software I like mountains, running, biking and photography.
Thanks and Regards,
Hristo Marinov

Looking for some projects to work on
by Priyanshu Rai
Hello there
I'm Priyanshu and I currently reside in India.
I'd started my Linux journey with Ubuntu (the usual) as my older pc had become really slow. I have since tried many distros - Neon, Kubuntu, Pop, Manjaro, Antix, Debian, Kali, Elementary, LMDE and been using Fedora for the last 3 months or so. I like tinkering with my system and ricing it up to make it completely unique. My current install is a Fedora minimal install with Sway and Gnome and everything extra configured after a bit of pains at the beginning. That's about my system and I love to boast :)
Started my second year in college, will probably take up EECS as a major. Our university is primarily research-oriented so I have to use various science packages like Sage, Avogadro, Cantor, Rkward, Maxima and the great TeXlive and it makes me feel at an edge than those who use Windows.
What I know:
I'm currently do web development, majorly in HTML/CSS and sometimes JS when it's required. Would love to know the methods used to build the Fedora docs site.
I use python (due to it being the language framework for Sage).
I'm interested in helping in the various docs and wiki pages in Fedora website and need some guidance regarding that.
I don't have too much to show as of now, here's my website which shows whatever I work on: Books from various places under creative commons, started a blog and other cool projects I'm interested in.
I've taken an interest in Lisp, Rust and Ruby but have done hardly anything in these but I'd be interested to learn them for a project.
I hope this will be an awesome experience.
Thanks

I would like to join the Team Self-introduction - Ahmed Almeleh
by Ahmed Almeleh
Hello team,
My name is Ahmed Almeleh, I am 20 years old and live in London, UK.
I am in Fedora's Quality Assurance team. However I do want to also join the
Workstation, Infrastructure, Usability SIG and Website teams but one step
at a time!
I have a BTEC Level 3 in Computing from Nescot College at Distinction
Distinction Merit (DDM) grade. I am currently studying for my HND in
Computing at Nescot whilst also teaching Information Technology online
through Superprof. I love virtualizing linux distros such as Fedora,
Oracle Linux, POP OS and Ubuntu. I started using Linux with Ubuntu 16.04
LTS on the 25th October 2016 when I was only 15 years old. I loved updating
packages, backing up and testing the distro out. My first contact with
Fedora was Fedora 28. I really enjoy using DNF and really want to be a
System Administrator or Web Developer. I am fluent in Html, CSS and
JavaScript. I also am currently doing an assignment for college that
involves testing how data can be secured when working remotely and how to
monitor employees who are working remotely.
Feel free to contact me
Yours Sincerely
Ahmed Almeleh

Kia ora koutou! My introduction
by Aiden Langley
Hey, I'm nedia, or Aiden, and sometimes Langs.
I live in New Zealand, I'm part Māori, part English. I was born in NZ, but grew up in London, and I've recently returned to NZ. I live in the Far North - I might be one of a handful of people who know how to use a computer in this remote part of the world. Sure feels that way sometimes.
I've been doing software for about 6 years now, starting w/ Java during an apprenticeship, and then PHP for 2 years, on spaghetti legacy code. I had a lot of fun writing a CLI application that interfaced with AWS to spawn EC2's to run large data conversions whilst I was working with PHP. Since then I've dabbled in some C#, recently, Rust, and lots of web dev in between. SvelteKit has been my favourite way to write websites recently. I have plans to write an open source CRM for healthcare / addictions in Go.
I'm a hardcore tinkerer, I've broken my personal environment more times than I can count, and a commercial test environment or two (trying not to do that anymore.) I've been using Linux on & off for about 3 years now. Enamored w/ Silverblue right now.
I have a mild form of Tourettes, ticking along I like to say, so I struggle with an unhinged brain sometimes. These days I tend to volunteer - I work with a small not for profit at the moment, managing their IT & teaching once a week, and in my spare time I've been working on passion projects so it made sense to get into open source. I've contributed some v minor changes to Pop Shell since it's a tool I can't live without.
Tenā koutou.
Ngā mihi,
Aiden :)
