There is a new mailing list project in the works. You should talk to nirik aka Kevin of
the infrastructure team in regards to this.

for years, and looking forward to helping bootstrap the local community here - as such,
fedora-join's launch is a serendipitous opportunity!
It'd be nice if we can get the mailing archives hosted on Gmane.org
-- they have a
nice NNTP interface, which some people prefer over getting mailing list subscriptions
emailed -- and makes it easier to catch up on list messages sent before one joins. Do
anyone have any objection, and do people prefer that email addresses be anonymized?
