Hi,
Hi Will,
Please allow me to briefly introduce myself. My name is Will;
I'm not
an IT professional, but I've been using various distributions of Linux
exclusively at home for over 15 years. I recently retired and am now
a full-time college student so I have a little bit more time on my
hands than I'm accustomed to. I'd like to contribute back to the FOSS
community, and the Fedora Project seems to be very welcoming! I
recently earned the RHCSA so I thought that I'd try to learn more
about the Infrastructure Project. If anyone has any advice on that
I'd love to hear it.
Welcome to Fedora! The infrastructure group is always looking for new
people to share the load. They actually have a really well defined
process for new comers. It's detailed here:

It's quite simple really - introduce yourself, get added to the
apprentice group and get your hands dirty, and when you're ready, you
get sponsored to the main infra group. If you do run into any issues,
ask away - I do tinker with infra a little, but not to much ;)
As far as testing Fedora 21 goes. I just installed the MATE spin on
an Acer Aspire V5-122P last night. It's working perfectly!
That's really good to hear! If you run into any bugs, do file them and
inform the QA team so that the rest of the community is aware of them.
