Rather, it's a friendly community colleague who is an experienced Fedora volunteer skilled in certain (or many) areas of community work, and who volunteers to be the primary point of contact to newer community members. Such community mentors will help newer members when required in whatever ways they see fit - helping them find information, teaching them processes or software, connecting them with other members of the community, and so on.
