Server is running RHEL 8.5
I follow all the Red Hat instructions to set up for an AD trust.
When I get to the final step,
ipa trust-add --type=ad ad_domain_name --admin ad_admin_username –password
I get
CIFS server communication error: code "3221225997", message "The transport
connection has been reset." (both may be "None")
Red Hat tech support is clueless (so what else is new)
Any clues from the IPA folks ?
Let's continue in your customer case. I made some suggestions.
