Hi all,
Whenever I have to reboot my IPA server I loose one of my IPA client's DNS A Record. Curiously all of the IPA client related SSHFP records are intact as well as the reverse lookup record.
The only thing that was slightly different about this client is at some point the IP address was changed. I did however change the IP address on a different client with no problems.
Thanks, -Mark

How have you confirmed that? Are you saying that the entry disappears from LDAP?

I can see my DNS records through the IPA Web Management: Network Services/DNS/DNS Zones/MyLocal.lan.
I also use the IPA Web Management to manually add the correct DNS A record for that IPA client.

I just had the same problem. Found out that I had switched the interface that held the IP, on the client machine that lost its DNS record, and I had registered with `--enable-dns-updates`. On updating the interface in `/etc/sssd/sssd.conf` things worked cleanly again and the DNS record was recreated automatically.
