Thank you for expressing an interest in the FUEL project.
As part of the Localization standardization initiatives FUEL project was
born. And it's going in a very good pace now. Chhattisgarhi (hne),
Gujarati (gu) , Hindi (hi), Maithili (mai), Malayalam (ml), Marathi
(mr), Punjabi (pa), Oriya (or), Tamil (ta) , Telugu (te) are the
languages so far completing the evaluation of FUEL standard glossary
terms. You may want to join Urdu (ur) in this list.
For that somebody will have to organize and host FUEL evaluation event where Linguists or Language experts and Localization community members participate to standardize FUEL terms into their native language.
There is also a major scope in the technical aspect for this project as well, e.g. fuelbot enhancement, fuel terminology embedding in the localization tools, cross-platform database creation, fuel website development, etc.
I think Rajesh, who initiated this project would be able to open these tasks to the community soon. However, you may visit Fuel web: https://fedorahosted.org/fuel/ for more details here. There is also an irc channel "fuel-discuss" (FreeNode) to stay connected with existing members.
Beyond FUEL, I think Urdu locale, fonts, rendering and input methods also need some help for Fedora i18n engineers. Let's discuss them on i18n@lists.fedoraproject.org
