Hi together, Trigger Rally has been listed on the Fedora wiki page for not being included because of licensing reasons for quite some time. Since then we did develop the game much further and we removed all non-free material. I don't know of any free 3D rally game that would make drifting more fun. At the same time its low demand on the systems hardware makes it very attractive to users with weaker systems. if I understood Onsemeliot's original email, this should no longer be an issue because upstream removed the non-free content.

Hey Onsemeliot, not sure if you got an answer here or not. I'm actually unsure of what would have to be done to officially change the status. But I think the best course of action would be to make a ticket for the Fedora Packaging Committee.     https://fedorahosted.org/fpc/report/1 They're probably in the best position to advise here. Anyway, I did a little wiki editing.

If the objectionable content is truly gone (I haven't checked myself) then anyone is free to package it. If the reviewer has questions about the content which remains, they can block the FE-Legal so that someone who knows about that kind of thing can have a look.

I am wiling to take up packing this game if no one else has risen to the occasion.

Alright, I still have not managed to package anything and this will be possibly my second package (I am working on my first). So it might take some time for me to complete but it will get done at some point. I will make sure to keep in touch. I played the game a bit so I still have the source code on my computer I am always lurking on this list, so I see all :b if you feel like I am taking too long with this feel free to send me an email bugging me to do it, sometimes I need a nudge to get things done.
