How much time were you thinking for a workshop and follow-up?
A 60-90 mins workshop (teaching them how hubs & the widget works)
sounds good to me.
OK, cool. Do we already have documentation and a presentation on how to
bring new developers into Hubs? If so, has it been kept up to date? And,
how recently had someone new tried to use it?
A major problem I always run into is that people underestimate how much is
actually involved in bringing new people onboard. Especially a group of
people in a workshop setting.
How many people were you thinking you'd involve?
followup dev sprint needs to be for a longer amount of time.
Of course. Although, if you are planning to have everyone do the same
widget, that seems like it'd help?
I think this info would help in terms of finding ideas of what to do
for a
workshop. I certainly think that creating widgets is a reasonable
possibility. Are people likely to already understand what widgets are
for/do?
Yes, that what we need to discuss through this thread. One thing we
need to be see while picking a widget that it does less/no feature to
be implemented in other applications.
Also, the time frame is limited so the widget should be easy to be
implemented with the given amount of time.
