Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
As per [1] discussion started around splitting smc-fonts package.
smc-kalyani-fonts was part of it and upstream has agreed to remove
smc-kalyani-fonts[2] from Fedora.
Would request to remove this package from Fedora.
Also if possible can this package be removed from Fedora-29 as well.

Summary: Drop python3-pyaudio dependency
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Status: NEW
Component: ibus-typing-booster

QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org

Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
ibus-typing-booster 2.5.0 added new Recommends: python3-pyaudio. This is
problematic because it pulls in a number of heavy dependencies that are
unwanted on a clean Fedora Workstation install, including the jack audio
server. Fedora Workstation already has pulseaudio.
As I understand it, the python3-pyaudio dependency is also unnecessary, because
it doesn't do anything unless a user manually installs google-cloud-speech from
pip
(https://mike-fabian.github.io/ibus-typing-booster/documentation.html#speech…)
When they do it, they might just as well install python3-pyaudio as well since
it won't be working out of the box anyway.
Please drop the Recommends: python3-pyaudio from the packaging. Thanks!

--- Comment #12 from N.Brack <nicolas.brack(a)mail.be> ---
@fujiwara : I could still reproduce the bug described in comment #3 in Fedora
29 (a rather fresh installation I may add), using the same applications, gimp &
inkscape.

I'm not the owner of this bug but I can report this bug to upstream.
I confirmed comment #4 of my problem still exits but I don't see any problems
in comment #3.
N.Brack:
Would you check if comment #3 does not work in Fedora 30 or 29?

Thank you Rajeesh and Nicolas for bringing up this topic.
Have rebuild all fonts from sources except smc-suruma-fonts because of the
missing file and also have reported it in upstream[1]
