I don't know why, but maybe the underscore (_) causes some troubles to the XeLaTeX engine, but this seems to be a XeLaTeX flaw, because I tried with Pango and it does display the correct glyph with Liberation Serif. What do you think about it? Should I fill a bug report for XeLaTeX?
