Hi Zach,
as the i3 SIG is planning to create a spin, we should be able to find
out what is exactly required. My current guess is, that it mostly boils
down to:
1. Compile a list of packages to be included
2. Create kickstart file and plug it into pungi
3. Ensure that the spin builds for each release and do some QA
I expect that 1. and 2. are mostly a one time thing, while 3. will
require long term commitment (especially if the QA part is not
automated).

Maybe we can get a discussion going on what needs to be done then to
tackle something like this. I personally do no know the work involved but having a
"tiling" spin that can support both X11 and Wayland would be amazing especially
since the configs are compatible.
