by Siddharth Upmanyu
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to update you all on the November list status, it looks
like we have lot of (50-60) media requests from places we have already
LocalContacts available, I have started to redirect the requests to
them, will finish off tomorrow... and with already accepted requests
by Jones,Ankur,Samavedam,Gurav and Buzzworks we should be able to
cover good lot of it.

A fedora release party for West Bengal/Kolkata
by gopal das
Hi,
It would be excellent if we can arrange a fedora release party for West
Bengal/Kolkata. We already organise some nice fedora party in other parts of
the country. But this is unfortunate we yet not able to organise a fedora
release party previously in Kolkata, according to my knowledge. Therefore
we can surely think about it at the eve of the fedora 10 release.
I am eagerly looking forward to my fellow fedora Ambassadors, Developers,
Marketing and enthusiast from or near West Bengal to come up to discuss
regarding the matter.
Thank you all of you.
Cheers

Instead of writing a dry, boring English release announcement for
translation ...
You are encouraged to write your own announcement, in your native
language, for your region of the world.
Please collaborate with other members of your localization/Ambassador
community for your 'formal' announcement.
Ambassadors -- please lead this effort within your language/locale.
Here are the points to discuss:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Talking_points_for_F10
You do not need to cover most or all of those; pick what you think
your audience wants to hear about the most.
This page explains the process in more detail, with links to previous
announcements:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_announcements
Still fixing a few things on that page, but it's usable right now. :)
