Hi all,
Ksnapshot, the photographer in your computer. This application helps
you to take screenshot or snapshot of your system. You can use those
screenshots to describe your problem/points in a better way. It can
even take snapshot of any particular window or a region. You can even
add some delay, after which it will take the snapshot.

Hi! All,
A quick observation and suggestion. A couple of weeks ago the
repositories for RHEL and Fedora were reported to have been hacked.
There have been no updates for the last two weeks, as far as I can tell.
RHEL executives were quoted all over the web on news sites stating that
things were under control and that nothing has affected the RHEL code
repositories. However, there seems to be diplomatic silence being
maintained on the Fedora project.
My question is, what exactly happened? and what is the current state?
As Fedora ambassadors and representatives I think people on this list
should inform the rest of the community of the status and if they need
to do anything to start getting updates again.
Cheers...Kishore

Hi,
My name is Aashik , I am from Trivandrum , Kerala. We have a GNU Linux
user's group here and we are conducting an Installfest at Technopark ( our
IT park ) . It started yesterday and will continue till 5th september.

Of course fedora is featured prominently in our installfest ( me having cut
my teeth on GNU/Linux on a Redhat 7.0) .
Is it possible to have some kind of promo materials about Fedora ? Flyers
posters etc will do. We have made a few of our own , but it would be nice
to have something from redhat.
Will update with the Fedora stats from the install fest as it progresses.
regards,
Ashik S
Hello guys!
I have planned to start-up a LUG in my university. The first major event
that I want to organize will be in upcoming 15 days. I wish to give a host
of presentations. I have already collected all the important stuff from the
wiki: presentations/Sticker designs/posters and will soon order them for
printing. What I lack is the media. Nilesh(Electro Mech.) has planned to
give away 1500 F9 DVDs and I contacted him for 150 DVDs. Although, we were
in touch, I provided him with my mailing address and he also accepted my
request but I have not heard from him lately since almost 15days. The event
is almost around the corner. If anyone has some sort of contact with him or
maybe help me out with the media, it would be a great help. This quarter's
budget has already been decided. So, I can't really get help from there. I
require atleast 50. I will try to arrange some more locally if possible.
One more thing, Susmit, I need the source file of your presentation of
TechTrix. Thanks!
Cheers!

Good to know about this. Please let the fedora-india list know when you
have some content on the wiki. To get more folks involved, it would be
very nice if you could start talks with the colleges at Imphal as to
whether they can help you out with the facilities and the like.
