Dear Sir, i m new to fedora linux.i have downloaded fedora 12 alpha and installed on my laptop.when i tring to update from Internet i m getting fallowing error .kindly do the needful. F11 connection probs in internet

I istalled fedora 11 with / partition with ext3 filesystem and 500 MB swap
partition.
I have followed the same procedure i have been following for f9 and f10.
when f11 loaded, the palimpsest disk utility shows that you have errors on
disc.
i installed a fresh copy of f11 again but the same problem arises.
I am unable to configure my internet connection(ppp using ethernet..bsnl
broadband) through system--> administration-->network
The activate/deactivate buttons appears grey.
When i try to configure through system-->preferences-->network conn. it let
me configured but when i check the box 'apply to all users' and try to
apply it shows 'saving connection failed :(0) can't write connection type
pppoe.
When i configure it without checking the box it do get configured but the
internet disconnects automatically after few minutes frequently.
the LAN is working super.
please help..
