Fedora is upstream for CentOS and some of the sub projects in Fedora including EPEL serve the CentOS community already. Now that Fedora has server, cloud variants etc, there is even more opportunities for the projects to work together. There is nothing wrong with sending such announcements to this list. In fact, I would like to see more specific agendas for contributors to collaborate.
