Hi,
In case you are not aware of this thing, Fedora Wiki login is now
possible for only those FAS users who have completed CLA and are part
of some other FAS group. If your account is showing just "cla_done
cla_fpca" as the only approved groups then you need to be either part
of one more group or newly created "wikiedit" group.
Adding a couple of
points to this :
In a recent CommOps meeting, it was decided that Onboarding be adjusted in
such a way that it doesn't require editing/Creating wiki pages as such. A
note was also added on to the Join Page [2] for the same. As far as I know,
this group was made to enable Fedora Remix people to edit and keep the
remix info up-to-date as they did not fit into any other existing group.
It is very unlikely that new contributors will be added here unless there
is a very valid reason to do so.
Quoting kevin from infra thread [3] :
" Well, see
https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/5434 which
is someone who does a Fedora remix and only wants to edit/keep up to date
their remix info. I don't see how any existing groups would cover this
corner case. "
For now I can't see any specific instructions on how to get
sponsored in "wikiedit" group. You may need to file a ticket in the
fedora-infra trac[1] or find someone in #fedora-admin to sponsor you
in "wikiedit" group. Once you are part of "wikiedit" group or any
other group, you can login to Fedora Wiki.
