[Fedora-infrastructure-list] hammer3
by Dennis Gilmore
For discussion once things settle down after the release. It seems hammer3
is very sick. I have logged into its console and tried to restart sshd
which resulted in
root@hammer3 ~]# /etc/init.d/sshd restart
Stopping sshd: [FAILED]
Starting sshd: /etc/init.d/sshd: line 100: 4550 Floating point exception$SSHD
$OPTIONS
[FAILED]
on a reboot quite a few of the services failed with Floating point
exception's most things on hammer3 don't work. I could try a rebuild as vi
works. Or we need to look at replacing it. thoughts? ideas? comments?

[Fedora-infrastructure-list] homepage for admin.fedoraproject.org
by Paulo Santos
Hi all,
I would like to start doing this asap, so far i just added my name in the
scheadule.
Can you guys give me an idea, of the actual goal to be accomplished with the
finished page?!
I know its to unify the look, and according to the current draft "The Fedora
Infrastructure Administration homepage provides lists for all the
infrastructure pieces and gives links to them". So where can i get this
information from?
i'm one of the new guys so i'm still trying to integrate and to have an idea
of all the different 'pieces' we have in Infrastructure.
So any help with this information would be helpfull.
Thanks,
Paulo

[Fedora-infrastructure-list] introduction
by James Bourne
Hi,
Saw the request for assistance in the newsletter this week and thought I
would join up.
I've been using Linux systems since 1993 and have been a systems admin since
1994. I've worked with RH systems starting in 1994 (with Halloween IIRC)
and have been using them ever since.
I work full time at a local college here in Calgary, AB Canada where I am a
senior systems admin and manage all the Linux systems (about 80), the
SAN and VTL devices, and provide backup admin for the Solaris and Tru64
machines (or any other bit they need).
I should be able to commit at least 4-6 hours each week, some weeks more and
some less.
I've already sent in the gpg signed CLA and I'm in #fedora-admin (nick etc).
Regards
James

[Fedora-infrastructure-list] mod_python on fpserv
by Mike McGrath
I've switched from using cgi to mod_python on the wiki. Sometimes
I've noticed high load on the box and general sluggishness on the
wiki. Hopefully this will fix that. As always keep an eye out for
anything that might be broken.
