Our torrent links on http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/ contain two slashes in them
(such as http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/torrents//Fedora-13-source-DVD.torrent).
I was wondering thoughts on this, to fix it. Smooge was concerned about the fact that other
things might depend on the .conf files. I didn't see anything at first glance, but I could be wrong.
Thoughts on this?:

I've sort of done this once before, but I think I've figured out a path
for myself so...
Name: Matt Micene
TZ/Country: Eastern, US, Virginia
Experience: System architecture and administration, shell, perl, some
python, postfix, apache, mysql, KVM, kickstart ... and more
Why: I've used Fedora since its inception and RHL since 95 and I'd like
to start giving back again. I've not been involved with an OSS project
for too long now.
What: I'd like to start with sysadmin-noc and learn and help document
the architecture in place (The questions I brought up to the list
How much: I've convinced work to give me 4 hrs a week (to start).
I think starting at the NOC, helping Mike document the FIGs, flesh out
some of the architecture docs that already exist on the wiki is a)
valuable and b) will help me figure out where next to move on to.
Comments are welcome!

Name: Kyle Richardson (IRC: krich; FAS: krichard)
Location: North Carolina, US
Experience: I've been a Linux enthusiast for about 4 years now and have
tinkered in several distros including Red Hat/Fedora and Ubuntu. I did
systems administration work while in graduate school for about 2 years on
RHEL 4 and 5 boxes working with Apache, MySQL, Bash, and Python. I've
recently taught myself some TurboGears to write a small app to help my wife
and I plan our wedding reception. I'm also very fluent in SQL and DBMS
administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle). I'm currently working as a
business/systems analyst and would like to keep up on my Linux and developer
Availability: I'd like to start actively contributing to Fedora to gain more
experience in development and administration as well as to give back to the
open source community. I have about 5 hours or so a week to dedicate to
working on projects. I'll do my best to make the weekly meetings although I
know I'll occasionally have a work conflict.
Interests: I'd like to start out in the devel and/or web groups to get a
feel for how the team works and learn the ends and outs of the
Look forward to getting know everyone. Please let me know how I can be of
help and what I should do to get started.
This one-character typo seems to be preventing commit mail from being
sent for all newly-created packages. I've fixed a couple already, but:
$ ls /srv/git/rpms/*/hooks/post.receive|wc -l
so I've more to fix. Not sure if I need +1s to make those changes, but I do
need +1s to push the following fix through puppet. I'm pretty sure that
this script simply lives in puppet; if there's another more upstream
repository, please let me know and I'll try to get this fixed there
