kill prelink
by Seth Vidal
Discussion from irc today pointed out the..... difficulty with our
security with prelink running on our systems.
From a suggestion from both Ricky (Zhou) and Kevin (Fenzi) I'd like to
kill prelink with fire from our systems.
Anyone have a good reason not to do this?

Meeting Agenda Item: Introduction Danijel Starman
by Danijel Starman
Hello all,
my name is Danijel Starman (danstar or irc) and I would like to join the
Infrastructure team and volounteer some time. I'm a long time linux user
and I'm trying to learn more about the sysadmin side of things as I was
taking care of some servers and chassis at past jobs . I have RHCT and I'm
currently preparing to recertify as a RHCSA and then hopefully RHCE.
I also have experience with voice services and networking (mainly Cisco)
but I'm not sure if anything from those fields is needed here. I'm in the
CET timezone.
Looking forward to help and learn!

Join apprentice group
by Aljerin Butler,Jr.
Hi,
My name is Al Butler. I introduced myself several weeks ago and have been attending your online meetings since. I would like to join your apprentice group.
As I had mentioned in my introduction, I am interested in web development and have some experience in script programming via Perl. Am new to Python but getting more familiar with it these past weeks. abadger1999 had pointed me to https://fedorahosted.org/elections/report/3, https://fedorahosted.org/elections/ticket/19 and https://fedorahosted.org/elections/ticket/36 for starters.
I'm not familiar with the software development process, so could you point me to any info as to how your process works in checking software in and out as I get going?
Where can I find out about using gettext with Python?
Thanks much

My concern has always been the wiki content search being horrible as Kevin also mentioned. For me sphinx sounds like the best tool for that job out of the box from the description provided. I have a couple concerns that we need to be sure to test with xapian being a crawler.
- Will this work for pages on the wiki that are already hard to find because they are not linked to from anywhere?
- Are we sure it will work on docs.fp.o and it's JavaScript navigation menu?
I am willing to help out testing if another can take the lead on it.
