[release] pkgdb 1.23

Good morning everyone, I have just released and push to stg and prod a new pkgdb2 release with few changes. Here is the short changelog: * Wed Jan 21 2015 Pierre-Yves Chibon <pingou(a)pingoured.fr> - 1.23-1 - Update to 1.23 - Increase the max width of the page - Added a public timeline to access the history of the package according to pkgdb (button in the package page) Basically the primary change is the apparition of the timeline button on the package page, for example: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/kernel/ leading to the timeline page: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/kernel/timeline#n9 I pushed this release despite the few changes because the next release will include some major changes and I wanted to be able to go back to something more stable if needed. This major change is the move of new package and new branch requests from bugzilla to pkgdb2 (cf [1, 2, 3] for more information on the topic). Good morning everyone, I have just released and push to staging a new release of pkgdb2: 1.23.991 (another pre-release of 1.24) Here is the changelog: * Tue Feb 17 2015 Pierre-Yves Chibon <pingou(a)pingoured.fr> - 1.23.991-1 - Update to 1.23.991 (pre-release for 1.24) - Fix documentation to reflect the correct variable name - Add a link to the request made by someone on the user's page (where all the packages of that person are listed) - Simplify the form to request a package to be added to pkgdb - Ensure we check that a group is valid before giving it some ACLs - Make it easier to change one's avatar by simply clicking on it (Ralph Bean) - Add a placeholder for the Review URL field when requesting a package to be added to pkgdb - When giving watch* ACLs to a FAS user, check that this user exists - Per FESCo decision, Fedora branch requests will have by default a 7 days period during which packager with approveacls will be allowed to grant/deny the request, this period does not apply if the requester has approveacls on the package I have one more change opened for review that will add a `My Requests` tab to the main menu (for logged in users), for the moment requests are accessible via the packager's info page, for example: https://admin.stg.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packager/vondruch/ and https://admin.stg.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packager/vondruch/requests As usual, testing, RFE, bug or any other feedbacks welcome :) Thanks, Pierre

Hi guys Nice to meet you all and join the Fedora community. My IRC handle is timothy_hk. I am Timothy from Hong Kong. I having been using Linux in working environment for corporate servers and I used it for pet project at home for years. I am learning Linux still. I am happy to help maintain fedora community system. I will spend some time to study the Fedora apps we are using in coming weeks. I know the infrastructure is huge. Hi everyone, I have just made a small release of anitya: 0.1.17. It brings back a feature that cnucnu has, which is to support URLs with '*' when using the custom backend. For example for http://download.tuxfamily.org/xmoto/xmoto/ the latest version is in a subfolder but if we go one level deeper we will miss any new versions having a different Y release (on the X.Y.Z versioning scheme). So for these cases we can now use http://download.tuxfamily.org/xmoto/xmoto/*/ as URL.
