[FBR] Add FAS group mapping for badge (Council)
by Justin W. Flory
Hello all,
I have a patch attached to add a new mapping to the
award-oldschool-badges cronjob for a FAS group <=> Fedora Badge. If
someone could please review and merge this in, that would be great! Thanks.

chinese@l.fp.o info page on HyperKitty
by Alick Zhao
Hi all,
When I check out the HyperKitty info page of the chinese(a)l.fp.o mailing
list [1], I see something like this:
Fedora 中文組郵件列表
That is, the description is in raw HTML entities, instead of Chinese
characters.
How can we fix this?
Besides, can we show links in the description? It will be nice to have.
And, can list admins update the description via the web interface? I was
one of the list admins for the chinese list in the Mailman2 era. Does the
admin privilege carry over to HyperKitty?

ODCS RFR
by Ralph Bean
Hey all,
I had a chat with Patrick yesterday and walked through the various
parts of the RFR process that my team has done a less than great job
of following. I never built up a good habit of following the RFR
process to the letter. Sorry for this. Will try to do a better job.
Patrick put together a template for the RFR process in the infra-docs
repo we can use to make it easier to not accidentally skip steps.
Anyways, I filled out some info on ODCS and thought I'd send it along
here. If there are any questions, we can try to answer them here or
in the ticket.

Current status is that it is setup in staging, but the prod nodes
haven't been provisioned yet.
Most all of the bits in staging look like they're working, except for
the crucially missing read-only mount of /mnt/koji. This is something
I didn't think to ask for earlier on, but, anyways it's in the ticket
above.
Thanks for your time. Questions welcome!

[Release] pagure-dist-git: 0.8.1
by Pierre-Yves Chibon
Good Morning Everyone,
I just cut a release of pagure-dist-git: 0.8.1
Here is its changelog:
* Fri Oct 06 2017 Pierre-Yves Chibon <pingou(a)pingoured.fr> - 0.8.1-1
- Update to 0.8.1
- Do not show the banner about disabled PRs on forks
Seeing the size of the change, I'm pushing it to stg, testing it there and
pushing to prod afterward.
Happy packaging,
Pierre

FBR: 🎶if you liked it then you should've put a lock on it...🎶
by Ralph Bean
... or even if you didn't like it, it still probably needs a lock.
/usr/local/bin/pagure-sync-bugzilla.py takes more than 24 hours to
run, and it doesn't have a lock wrapper on it. It needs one.

Meeting Agenda item: Introduction Ajay Vembu
by ajay vembu
Hi Team,
I have been a long time Linux user and admired features of RPMs and YUM's.
After extensively using Fedora since from version 18 I have decided that I
should contribute to this community which gave me ease at work.
I am a recent Masters graduate in Computer Science & currently working as a
Technical Engineer in Informatica. I have spent most of time solving
problems via data structures and algorithms during my Masters. I have been
using Java for more than 7 years and using Python for 4 years. Also I have
been learning shell scripting and Hadoop administration for quite some time
now.
I would love to work in Python based projects of Fedora. After exploring
issues tracker I found projects Bodhi and Pagure were interesting, I would
love to explore more about those projects.
My IRC handle is *ajayvembu* and eager to attend the next meeting.
Thanks,
Ajay Vembu

FBR: upgrade buildvm-armv7-01/02
by Kevin Fenzi
Greetings.
After we started using the new buildvm-armv7 vm's (that are running on
aarch64 virthosts) for builds, we also tried to use them for nightly
composes. However, for whatever reasons, they would hang and become
unresponsive. This happened with them as f25 instances and then again
later when they were 26.
I'd like to take both of them and update them to the kernel thats
avaiable in f26-updates-testing (4.13.4-200.fc26) and then re-enable
them to see if they hang again, and if they do, engage arm folks in
tracking down the issue so we can get it fixed.
If they do hang, it may cause the nightly rawhide and/or branched
composes to also hang, but as soon as I get in in the morning I can free
those tasks and they will re-run on one of the old arm SOCs. Also, we
now have beta mirrored out, so branched compose isn't time critical.
+1s?
