Question:
Should I get the .iso from:
/pub/alt/iot/29/IoT/armhfp/iso
For my RPi2? What is the process for booting + installing?
Would the following work:
0)??
1) Create the ISO/DVD
2) Boot the machine off an attached USB DVD
So you can likely write the .iso to a USB stick and use that.
3) Follow std install process to install to an SD in the RPi2
There's some problems with 32 bit at the moment so it won't actually
work, I was hoping to have the arm32 stuff using grub2, we have most
of the bits in place but I ran into some bugs and ran out of time to
complete this for Fedora 29 so it's been pushed back to Fedora 30.
This UEFI on ARMv7 is required for rpm-ostree and that is why we
currently aren't producing 32 bit images. I'm hoping to have the last
bits of this closed out soon and we'll then enable the image creation
in rawhide for IoT as soon as that's complete.
OR what would be the course of action, if I should use the other Pi?
Would you recommend using a Pi2? Or just concentrate on the RPi3B+?
ATM you'll just need to concentrate on RPi3 series of devices.
