This is probably a manifestation of this bug. We just installed the latest tomcat5, installed tomcat5-admin-webapps and tomcat5-webapps. Trying to access either of these from the main tomcat5 startup page causes an error. Attaching the catalina log.
Let me know if you need help reproducing the bug.

It's the same bug.
