So we had our meeting with a number of participants and fruitful discussion :-)
Meeting minutes are available with meetbot[1]. Shortened summary:
* New project "javapackages" is gonna be created on fedorahosted
* New project will contain Fedora specific rpm macros and scripts for
packaging java (add_maven_depmap, maybe javadoc scriptlet
eventually, custom rpm providers etc.)
* javadoc scriptlet will be improved to handle license files
automatically before re-evaluating for inclusion
* We will move %{_jnidir} to use %{_libdir} according to discussion
in [2]. Breakages will be fixed.
* Jars with native libraries inside (such as jansi-native package
parts) are going to be installed inside %{_jnidir} and maven improved to
resolve even from jnidir
* We have osgi provides generator in Fedora. See scratch build
[3] for example generated rpm provides
* JBoss AS 7 reviews are moving slowly but so far without too much
trouble. Current status is always at [4]
