java-dirq requires maven-javadoc-plugin to be compiled on CentOS/RHEL 8 through
EPEL.
Could you please make maven-javadoc-plugin available on EPEL8 like it is on
EPEL7?

I do not see that we would have epel7 branch in this package. When I tried to
build this on epel8, I am hitting missing dependency on
'mvn(org.apache.maven.shared:maven-artifact-transfer) >= 0.11.0' so before
maven-artifact-transfer [1] will be available for EPEL8, this package can not
be built.

Hi,
does java-dirq actually *need* maven-javadoc-plugin?
If not, running `%pom_remove_plugin :maven-javadoc-plugin` in %prep should make
it build without it.

Indeed, the plugin can be disabled this way. I have now successfully built
java-dirq on EPEL8.
maven-javadoc-plugin is still nice to have on EPEL8 but it is not blocking
anymore.
