love the color-coded idea! we definitely don't make enough use of color. a per-cell color in nutupane would be great for last-checkin, errata updates

I think its somewhat important to take a look at how spacewalk/satellite implemented this to see if any of it is relevant:

Granted it does not show subscription status, but it does show System type, errata status, and whether actions are pending.   Also it typically uses color with an icon to show the different statuses.

Errata status i do feel is fairly important (severity of errata that apply to the system), but it may be somewhat tough to implement on our side.
Can you clarify that SS:

Is it displaying the total number of Packages on the system or the number of packages with updates?
I assume the number of Errata displayed are the number of applicable errata.
What determines "Critical" status?
Where are the actions pending in that SS?
Do you have an example of the colors in use in that view?

I'd probably echo the same as Race Boyer, but add Errata Status to the High.

-Justin

High
- name
- entitlement status
- last checkin
- result of last action (color coded)
- pending actions

Medium
- type
- OS

Low
- registration time
- uptime

Subject: System Information for User Display

I am looking to gather a list of system details that are user would like to see when viewing systems in a table format. If the list was prioritized, this would also be advantageous for deciding what information to leave off of the table view and what information to potentially add to the view as the users ability to see more information increases (a.k.a their screen size increases or optional show/hide of columns per user).  The previous list of information shown when viewing systems in bulk:

Name
Color-based Entitlemented indicator
Environment
OS
Registration Time
Last Checkin Time

If you wouldn't mind replying with high, medium and low.

High
- Name
- Entitlement Status
- Environment
- Content View
- OS
- Last Checkin

Medium
- Registration Time
- Type (Host, Guest, Hypervisor)

Thanks,
Eric
