Okular Does Not Print Form Values
by Reuben D. Budiardja
Hello,
I have PDF that has interactive form in it. I can fill in values with Okular,
even save the file and open the PDF file again with previously filled in values.
But I cannot seem to print the PDF file with the filled in values, either
directly to printer, or as PDF or PS. Even print-preview does not show the
values.
Is this a bug ? is anyone else having this problem ?
I use Fedora 10 fully updated.
Thanks.

Google Gadgets broken?
by Jeffrey D Anderson
After the latest KDE upgrade on my Fedora 10 machine it seems that google
gadgets no longer work.
I'd had a couple of them installed on my desktop, and now I get empty black
boxes with a message in them that they cannot find "ggl_2" and "ggl_3"
When I try to "Add Widgets" to the desktop, the google gadgets that I'd
previously had installed have an hour glass next to them and cannot be
added.
The drop down box at the bottom, "Install New Widgets" used to have an entry
for "New Plasma Widgets" and for "New Google Gadgets". Now only the Plasma
widgets entry exists.
Going to krunner and searching for google takes me to a program that, when
run, starts up an RSS newfeed and a clock, so it looks like something is
installed and functioning.
rpm -qa |grep google
google-gadgets-qt-0.10.5-3.fc10.i386
google-gadgets-0.10.5-3.fc10.i386
rpm -q kdebase-workspace
kdebase-workspace-4.2.1-7.fc10.i386
The same problem exists on another newly installed machine running the
x86_64 distribution.
I've also tried creating a new user and have the same results, so I don't
think it's some old cruft in my .kde directory.
Anyone else see this? I haven't seen any mention on the mailing list, nor
is there anything in the kde bugtracker.

F10 & KDE 4.2.1 rocks...
by linux guy
Hi people.
Just a quick note to say that F10/ KDE4.2.1 rocks for me. Its stable
and fast. It does everything I need it to and then some. I've been
working my butt off doing stuff in F10 for the last few weeks and its
great.
Kudos to the KDE & Fedora teams for delivering such a great product.
Caveat: I can't wait for KDE 4.2.2 and Qt4.5...

Two network icons in my panel
by Timothy Murphy
The recent thread "2 battery widget icons"
made me wonder again why I have two network icons
in the panel on my laptop.
They are similar but not identical -
one has thicker bars than the other.
The thin one has an "About" item in the right-click menu,
telling me that it belongs to NM Applet.
Would it not be a good idea to make it a rule
that all panel icons should have such an item in their right-click menu?

KMail: (another) Bug or Privacy option?
by Martin Kho
Hi,
I run KMail - v. 1.11.1 - stand alone and with the default lay out (Long
Folder List, Message Preview Pane below Message List, no Structure viewer).
When KMail starts it opens my Inbox, selects latest messages in the list and
shows this message in the preview pane. So far so good. Now, when I click my
inbox - don't ask me why I click my Inbox when it's already open, I just like
to click around :-) -, the message preview disappears. I have to choose an
other folder to get the message back. Tried this with IMAP and (local) POP-
folders.
Have someone else seen this behavior? Is it a bug or is it intentionally?

Kmail just disappears
by Arthur Pemberton
When Kmail crashes, as it often does, it just goes "poof". Regardless
of if run directly or via Kontact. With or without kdepim-debuginfo,
and even if run from Konsole.
As of tonight it crashed once, and now just won't open messages I
click on, with no visible errors.

2 battery widget icons
by Neal Becker
I've seen this once before- and now it's back. Battery monitor is showing 2
icons in panel.
I thought maybe there were 2 instances, so I deleted one, and both icons
disappeared. Adding back battery widget, I've got 2 icons again.
