announce fedora 20 kde-4.14.3 on updates-testing
by Sérgio Basto
Hi,
this kind of reminder that I like to have :)
You may update to kde-4.14.3, if you haven't updates-testing enabled,
with:
yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory
FEDORA-2014-14787,FEDORA-2014-14828,FEDORA-2014-14792
I testing it now and it is OK
Thanks,

rdieter / kde4
by Orion Poplawski
Getting
kompare-4.14.1-1.el7.centos.x86_64 requires libkomparediff2.so.4()(64bit)
kompare-libs-4.14.1-1.el7.centos.x86_64 requires libkomparediff2.so.4()(64bit)
Also, seems like kile, kbibtex, others are missing. Any chance they could be
added?
Thanks!

apper - yum - dnf a connection?
by Ed Greshko
Running F20/KDE. When the apper notification appears in the task bar I will often run yum from a terminal session to install the updates instead of clicking on the "install" button. Shortly after yum is complete the apper notification goes away.
Today, instead of running yum I ran dnf. The apper notification did not clear afterwards after waiting a few minutes. Unfortunately at the time I did not think to wait longer, or time it, and I clicked on "check for updates" and after a short time the apper notification cleared.
So my question is.... Is there some notification process going on between yum and apper that isn't implemented between dnf and apper? Or am I just a victim of an over active imagination?

The libkscreen update has been refreshed to include a new (and
compatible) kscreen build too.

Setting Up PAM KWallet on Fedora 21
by Sudhir Khanger
Hello,
What is the status of PAM on Fedora 21? I see /etc/pam.d/sddm has proper
entries for pam_kwallet. Is it pre-configured? Is use expected to make any
changes to config files? I used the same password for primary use and gpg key
but KWallet up on login remains locked.
Is pam_kwallet working on or not?
