Plasma-X11 support in F42

Hi, I'd like to know if plasma-x11 is still available in F42. I still have some issues with wayland so I would like to have the option to open a X11 session. My issues with Wayland are: - VirtualBox does not have access to the mouse in a Windows 10 guest - The Gimp has some widgets going outside of the screen making them unsuable. Thanks, F

Hello Just a heads up for the F43 KDE and WS Rawhide aarch64 images. The .iso will not boot. The raw image works fine. I did update the firmware on both my rpi 4 and 5. Hope that helps. Plasma 6.4 session restore

I've just updated to Plasma 6.4 from the Fedora repo as I was keen to check out the new session restore feature I've been waiting for. I logged in, set up my various desktops and windows, hit Save Session, logged out and in again. As far as I can see there has been no improvement over 6.3. Am I missing something? poc

I'm having trouble with this and don't easily see where its bug list is, but I notice it's (co-)written by Neil Gompa of this parish. Recent updates have stopped it crashing after finishing updating my system which is great, but it now always initially opens with an empty list. I have to use the "refresh metadata" option from the File menu to get it to list anything. Also I've just noticed it doesn't want to produce a list of installed packages. The best I can do is get the full list, although it doesn't mark installed packages. Is there somewhere better to report this? Or do I have something set wrong? Mark

Plasma 6.4.0 beta 2 fails to run (with qt 6.9.1?)

All worked perfectly as far as a beta is supposed to be (actually the only issue was that the mallik (spelling?) keyboard was crashing frequently. The workaround for me was to open a tty terminal, launch the gdm service and log in to gnome (plasma naturally fails). Is this information helpful? Best regards, -- José Matos

Fedora 42: Akregator internal browser does not work

Hi I'm having a severe issue with Akregator on Fedora 42. The internal browser does not work. The browser area does not display anything valid and the whole area just does not refresh and shows the pixels from any other application window that was on top of Akregator window (I hope I am making sense here). It has been like this ever since I installed Fedora 42. Most applicable packages from "qt5-qtweb*" and "qt6-qtweb*" are installed. But I see that there's an installed package named "qt5-qtwebkit", but there is no package named "qt6-qtwebkit".
