Plasma 6.4 session restore

I've just updated to Plasma 6.4 from the Fedora repo as I was keen to check out the new session restore feature I've been waiting for. I logged in, set up my various desktops and windows, hit Save Session, logged out and in again. As far as I can see there has been no improvement over 6.3. Am I missing something? poc

KMyMoney/gwenhywfar repo conflict

My system update with DnfDragora fails, complaining about KMyMoney and gwenhywfar version problems. Updating from the command line with dnf works, but gives the following exclusions: Skipping packages with conflicts: gwenhywfar 5.12.0-2.fc42 gwenhywfar-gui-cpp 5.12.0-2.fc42 gwenhywfar 5.12.2-4.fc42 gwenhywfar-gui-cpp 5.12.2-4.fc42 Skipping packages with broken dependencies: gwenhywfar-gui-cpp 5.12.0-2.fc42 gwenhywfar-gui-qt5 5.12.0-2.fc42 kmymoney-libs 5.1.3-13.fc42 These are all x86_64 packages. Is this a Fedora repo problem (so I should tell them) or a KDE one? The, much longer, transaction warning from dnfDragora is when trying to update gwenhywfar. Strangely enough dnfdragora gives it to me twice in two separate dialog boxes, the second after I close the first. It is : Problem 1: problem with installed package - installed package kmymoney-libs-5.1.3-13.fc42.x86_64 requires libgwengui-qt5.so.79()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - package kmymoney-libs-5.1.3-13.fc42.x86_64 from fedora requires libgwengui-qt5.so.79()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - Controlling kdeconnect

I recently installed kdeconnect and it's now running whenever I log in. I'd prefer to have more control over it (e.g. turning it on and off), but the task bar widget doesn't seem to have that functionality. Does this mean I have to use systemctl for such a basic operation? poc

Virtual desktop under Wayland.

I use the Sunshine gaming server (https://app.lizardbyte.dev/Sunshine/?lng=en) to stream interactive games to my TV (connected to an Xbox running Moonlight). This all worked well until I attached an additional 4K monitor to my existing 1920x1080 setup. Now I have to use the the display settings widget to scale the monitor to get the right screen size on the TV (at 1920x1080), which makes everything much too small for everyday use. Some searching shows that on X11 this can be handled using xrandr to create a virtual display and mapping that rather than the real one, but on Wayland the only option appears to be xdg-desktop-portal-kde, about which I can find little or no documentation. Has anyone used this (or an alternative) on Wayland? poc
