I have a half-dozen "copy files" entries. Is that worth editing?
Probably not.
Also,
presumably the idea is to edit when KDE isn't running, right?
KDE is OK, but plasma shouldn't be running.
In konsole -
kquitapp plasma-desktop
edit your file and restart plasma-desktop
