As kevin mentioned, our primary focus and concern is the kde live spin.
My personal opinion that the dvd media's lifetime is limited, and will
hopefully simply go away someday (it's usefulness is limited already, and
will likely only get worse over time)
not as long as with live-media you can not setup such things
currently it is more or less "blow the live-setup to disk"
it is painfully enough get a useful partition layout with anaconda
because the braindead "i do not care about your order"
