Does anyone out there know how to disable packagekit without uninstalling it. I've managed to disable the kde side of things, but even though I've disabled the gnome side of things it keeps popping everytime after I've run yum.qu

Oh... While we're at it... Does anyone know if there are any bug reports / wish list at bugzilla requesting that yum be somewhat less resource intensive?
