excuse me, could you be a little more emphatic... there are ways you could deal with your wish to leave messages on your IMAP server, perhaps, though I'm not sure whether 'Leave messages on server' works the same way for IMAP as for POP

I have 7 email accounts, and around 2k messages a day I deal with. I don't have any IMAP accounts configured as such, though I could. So, different needs - I was just suggesting in case you'd overlooked that setting
