As Matthew and others have said, this group is what will keep KDE
alive in Fedora. I've mostly lurked on here. I switched to KDE many
years ago because I liked the flexibility it gave me, but I've not
really contributed back in any meaningful way. Let's use the RHEL
announcement as an opportunity to make this SIG more vital. I'd love
to see more content on the community blog with calls for help and
other ways to get folks more active.
I'm not sure why people are making a fuss.
This is exactly what RH has been doing for a long time - shifting
everything they don't want to support directly into EPEL.
RHEL7 was the first revision of this - and thousands of packages were
shifted to EPEL. This is just the continuation of this.
