This is a very odd problem. It happens for me on a newly installed F22 as well as an F21->F22 upgraded system.
Start an instance of Thunderbird and konsole.
In T-Bird pick "write" and then enter several lines of text in the body of the message.
Then do an ls or something in knosole to get some text.
Copy and then paste this text below the text you've just typed.
Position the cursor at the start of the pasted text and hit backspace a few times. Instead of the text being shifted up, a line of text will be deleted. So far, this seems to only happen with text taken from konsole. If I copy/paste text from Chrome I will not see this problem.
Can someone try this to confirm? I think it should be a konsole BZ but not certain. Konsole outputPointer Control

Can you try changing the font size from the default and repeating the test? On the Evolution list there are complaints about an editing bug that looks like this (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=749712). Both Evo and TBird are GTK apps.

No difference. Selected a different font and a different size.
Also, it is only text copied from konsole. If I bring up a gnome-terminal and copy text from it, no problem. Also, if I go to klipper and find an entry that came from konsole and pick "edit" and copy from that window there is no problem.

As a long-term KDE/Tbird user on Fedora and EL-clone platforms I have always found that pasting into Tbird has been glitch-prone. I'm afraid I have never investigated thoroughly - it's always been possible to produce the desired text, but not always at the first attempt. Is your problem really new?

Yes, it happens only on F22 with the latest konsole.
The "good news", it fails the same way in kubuntu. :-)

Since it also fails in kubuntu I reported it here. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349261
