Hi Rex,
I was able to get f29/f28 builds going for initial/experimental
gtk3-kde5
support built in libreoffice-6.1.x,
https:://bugzilla.redhat.com/1647233
here's the fruits of that labor,
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/rdieter/libreoffice-kf5/
Thanks!
Enabling the copr and trying to do a dnf update results in following error:
Problem 1: package libreoffice-gtk2-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64 requires
libreoffice-core(x86-64) = 1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29, but none of the providers
can be installed
- cannot install both libreoffice-core-1:6.1.2.1-5.fc29.1.kf5.x86_64
and libreoffice-core-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
- cannot install both libreoffice-core-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64 and
libreoffice-core-1:6.1.2.1-5.fc29.1.kf5.x86_64
- cannot install the best update candidate for package
libreoffice-gtk2-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
- cannot install the best update candidate for package
libreoffice-core-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
Problem 2: problem with installed package
libreoffice-gtk2-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
- package libreoffice-gtk2-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64 requires
libreoffice-ure(x86-64) = 1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29, but none of the providers
can be installed
- cannot install both libreoffice-ure-1:6.1.2.1-5.fc29.1.kf5.x86_64
and libreoffice-ure-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
- cannot install both libreoffice-ure-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64 and
libreoffice-ure-1:6.1.2.1-5.fc29.1.kf5.x86_64
- cannot install the best update candidate for package
libreoffice-ure-1:6.1.2.1-3.fc29.x86_64
I assume I need to remove libreoffice-{core,gtk2,ure} first and then
do a fresh install?
My initial testing was good, just verified that kf5-based filepicker shows
when saving a file if libreoffice-kf5 package is installed and run from
within a plasma session.
