On F30, I am trying again kde on wayland. This time, it seems to be quite usable! I need the virtual screens, and I'm happy to see this feature is now working.
Unfortunately, I also need x2goclient, which segfaults on kde wayland client. So I guess I'll have to wait some more.
That was my initial impression, too. Then, I tried switching to another virtual desktop and plasma crashed and never came back and I was forced to reboot. I went back to Plasma on Xorg.

I also thought kde/wayland was looking a lot better. But I don't think fonts are as clear as on kde/X.
