If I try to logout (e.g., alt-ctrl-del), I'm presented with a logout screen that looks like the logout screen we've seen on KDE for some time, but it's almost completely unreadable as it is a very dark foreground on a black background. This change happened maybe a couple of months ago.

What version of Fedora? I see the same thing after upgrading to Fedora 26 via fedup.

This is F26, but I'm pretty sure I saw it with a late F25, although I've also enabled _copr_mkyral-plasma-unstable.repo

Note that fedup is deprecated. The recommended system update method is with dnf.
